Mahaveda
Ashram

A return to the Siddha tradition — the treatments, the medicines and the hidden vidyas practised by the Siddhars of ancient Bhārat, tuned to the energy of this universe.

01 · The Lineage

Where it all
began.

Mahaveda is not something built. It is a returning — to the Siddha rishis who walked this land long before temples were raised, who lived in the cremation grounds and the deep forests, and who left their knowing in the palm leaves and in the breath of their disciples. They taught that the body, the forest and the stars are moved by one energy — the energy of this universe.

Our acharyas trace their transmission to the eighteen Siddhars — Agastyar, Bhogar, Thirumūlar and those who chose to remain nameless in the mist of Wayanad.

Smashanam — sacred cremation ground at dusk
04 · The End of the Path

Smashanam.

Where the Siddha begins, the Siddha also ends. Mahaveda teaches Smashanam — the cremation-ground teaching — where the seeker meets the ash of every name, every form, every attachment. Only when the pyre has cooled does the true vidya begin to speak.

"Where you fear to sit, sit. Where the fire consumes the body, the mantra consumes the self."

— from the Wayanad palm-leaves
